Ride Info:  The fall ride this year is our “Blazin’ A Trail For A Cure” so it is being held at the Litchfield Fairgrounds to allow more space for parking.  Saturday’s ride will be our regular MTRA ride starting at 9:30 am and we will be riding from the fairgrounds to our club house for lunch break and making a loop back to the fairgrounds.  A pot luck supper for Saturday night and a camp fire in the evening.  

Sunday’s ride is the trail ride for the cure and will not start until after lunch at 1:00 pm.  This will be a ride of about 3 hours and will also be counted as our MTRA ride.  Overnight camping will be available at $15.00 per rig for the weekend; however there are only 75 stalls available for horses.  If you are planning on camping overnight it is required that your horse be kept in a tie stall.  No portable fencing or tying over night to trailers will be allowed.  The Maine Trail Riding Club will need registration forms in by September 3, 2010.  Please contact Cathy Small at Cathy@MaineTrailRiders.com for more information and put “registration” in the email subject line.  This is dry camping (no dumping station or electricity can be used); however bathrooms and showers are available.  Camp sites will be assigned upon arrival .  Event t-shirts are available for an additional $10.00 charge.  Limited supply; first come first serve.  Helmets required for 18 years and younger.  Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult the entire length of the ride. 

No stallions or ponying horses will be allowed on this ride.

                10:000 a.m. – 12:00 (noon) – Registration

                12:45 p.m. –all riders must be ready to ride

                1:00p.m. – Ride promptly starts
